Lakeshore Parola & San Ildefonso Parish

Today, Tanay is one of the thirteen towns and one component city which comprise the province of Rizal. located in southeast Luzon, Tanay is the major agricultural and commercial center of eastern Rizal.

San Ildefonso is one of the 26 churches nationwide chosen by National Commission for the Culture and Arts as national heritage sites.

What is it like?

San Ildefonso church is locally known as TANAY CHURCH and just a few kilometers away from Lakeshore Pagoda. The architectural design of this historical church remain well preserved and the interior design of the church is simply stunning.

Tanay church is open to all tourist and travelers who wanted to pray. Remember to bring your candles and flowers.

Tanay lake shore and its parola provides a grand view of the lake and mountains. most of the Tanay folks visit he are in early mornings for the cool breeze and warm morning.


What is it like?

Tanay lake shore and its parola is best way to enjoy after or before you start your Tanay Adventure. Climbing the parola will bring out the youth on you while enjoying the scenic view of lake.



Fun Fact:

Climbing the parola is just one way to enjoy the view another is a colorful "bangka" boat ride around the fish-farms.

How get there:

Take a Van to Tanay Rizal from Star Mall. (Php 75.00) from Tanay Market hire a tricycle to get around. It will test your bargaining skill, I paid for Php 500.00 (six destination)
